Simone Pearce

For the past eight years Simone has trained and competed in Europe in front of a worldwide audience. She is now an internationally renowned Grand Prix rider, based at the prestigious stables of Helgstrand Dressage in Denmark.

In 2017 Simone completed a brilliant competition season, earning outstanding results in the five and six year old classes at the FEI World Breeding Championships for Young Horses in the Netherlands. There, her winning qualifying ride with Feodoro in the six year old class defined a ground breaking moment for Australian dressage. Simone will represent Australia once more for her third appearance at the championships in Ermelo in 2018.

Simone is an inspiring global ambassador for the future of Australian dressage – we’re delighted to welcome her home for this special event.

Brett Parbery and PPH Zeppelin

Brett Parbery

Brett has distinguished himself as an incredible horseman and rider throughout his monumental dressage career. He’s a seasoned international competitor, elite level coach and an invaluable mentor. His successful partnerships with multiple Grand Prix champions such as DP Weltmieser have garnered acclaim from international judges and spectators alike.

Earlier this year, Parbery Performance Horses and Wilinga Park joined together to create one of the most exciting partnerships in Australian equestrian history. Brett and his team are looking to the future and are currently working with the stunning three year old imported Westphalian stallion Fangio (sired by Flanell and from a Laurentio mare), who looks to have a breathtaking career ahead of him. David McKinnon and Brett will be working hand in hand with this amazing young horse, with David in the saddle accompanied by Brett’s expert assistance from the ground.

David Shoobridge

As an elite level coach and Grand Prix rider, David has enjoyed an outstanding career so far. In 2013, his impressive competition season with 00 Seven produced tremendous scores, including a mark of 73.5% for the Grand Prix Freestyle at the PSI event Dressage and Jumping With the Stars. With the help of David’s diligent guidance, many of his students are now reaching the level of Grand Prix themselves, which is a special hallmark for any rider.

David also has a discerning eye for big moving young horses. His partnership with the remarkable Grand Prix stallion Fürst Fantasy underlines this keen sense of potential. In fact, throughout his years spent as a highly successful breeder, David has been responsible for developing some of the most thrilling up-and-coming talent for the future.

David McKinnon

Based at both Wilinga Park on the South Coast and McKinnon Sport Horses in the Southern Highlands of NSW, David is an extraordinarily gifted Grand Prix rider with a reputation for excellence. During his early professional career he worked alongside Brett Parbery and was able to apply his natural skills in training to produce superb qualities in the horses he worked with.

Since then, David has successfully guided the careers of many horses up to the highest levels of dressage. He is currently working with the elegant mare Woodside Lady Loxley – an immensely talented young horse with a stunning future ahead of her.

Robbie McKinnon

From an early age Robbie proved to possess an astonishing flair for the discipline of dressage. Her career as an elite level rider and trainer has flourished while Robbie continues to consistently produce breathtaking performances in the arena. One of her most well regarded partnerships is with Grand Prix extraordinaire Robali Razzamatazz – a horse who has been expertly guided by Robbie up to the highest level of competition.

In addition to competing at Grand Prix level, Robbie has successfully nurtured many young horses to exceptional competition rankings alongside her husband David. Together, they’ve proved to be a highly dynamic young team. An exciting selection of rising stars from the Robali Equestrian/McKinnon Sport Horses team will make their masterclass debut under Robbie and David’s skilful direction.

Michelle Baker

Michelle’s amazing capabilities are easy to behold when she takes the reins. Her career as a high performance rider and gifted professional coach has been filled with great success. One stand-out highlight which perfectly showcases her vocation is her partnership with Bradgate Park Puccini. Together, they’ve proved to be one of the most sensational competition pairings to behold in an arena.

With Michelle’s expert guidance from the age of two, Puccini has developed into a double Advanced Champion with incredible scores at both the 2017 Sydney CDI and 2017 Australian National Championships. His impressive progression throughout the small tour points to him flourishing into a future Grand Prix star.

Riley Alexander

Despite his young age, Riley has established himself as a remarkable high performance rider. His career has seen him work closely with incredibly talented professional equestrians John Thompson (NZ) and Brett Parbery, allowing him to develop his staggering natural aptitude for horsemanship.

Now the head rider for the venerable establishment of Mulawa Performance, Riley trains and competes a team of magnificent horses across all levels of dressage, up to Grand Prix. One major landmark for Riley in 2018 has been the success of the spectacular colt Aber Halo MI; who was named equal four year old champion at the PSI event of Dressage and Jumping With the Stars. The future for this young rider looks incredibly exciting.
